The styled shoot that just keeps on giving, the talented videographer Jack Corthine (Mirrorless Jack) sent me the link to his video made on the shoot day a couple of weeks ago titled ‘wild love’ and I just had to share it with you… all flowers where arranged by me.
A colour palette of cream, white, caramel and blush brought together the flowers between these two beautiful venues. Longton Wood and Bicknor Church which is a tiny church in situated right in the middle of gorgeous orchards!
All of these beautiful flowers were collected and dried by the mother of the bride, Irene, for over a year. I then had the absolute pleasure of working with her to bring their dream wedding flowers together.
Taking wedding flowers with you if you are getting married abroad can be a great way to get the look that you want. These wedding flowers are all artificial and were created with the location Castello Di Meleto, Italy in mind.
What joyous evenings these supper clubs are, captured here beautifully by John Starns. I just love being involved with The Curious Eatery events, here they asked me to create tall seasonal table centres and an arrangement for the welcome drinks table.
Dried flowers have become quite the trend, I would say that around 10-20% of my meetings with brides recently have included a conversation or photograph of dried flowers!
On Thursday evening I was asked to do a demonstration at the Paddock Wood Flower Arrangers Club. The theme was arranging with flowers and foliage that you can pick from your garden and hedgerow.
Claire & Fred were married at Greenhill Farm, Otham, Kent. Which hadn’t previously been a wedding venue. Claire grew up on the farm as did her ancestors and so getting married there was pretty special.
Fitting in regular shop days alongside an ever busying event and wedding calendar just isn't feasible this year. No worries though, we will be back during the run up to Christmas.
