Soon we will all be able to party again...

To all my lovely customers past, present and future

Theses are tough times for all of us and please look after yourself and family.

Once trading is allowed to continue, I will be here creating beautiful things for brides, other celebrations and flowers to brighten your home.

Summer workshops have been sadly cancelled - However, the Christmas Shop and workshops will be open and running from the end of October.

In the meantime…

To bring joy and colour to my village I have been working on this floral party dress. After all soon enough we’ll all be able to party again! A great project for me and one that I hope will make people smile.

Making process

Made using everything from my bits boxes and repurposing old stock and arrangements. I started off making the skirt using chicken wire and metal hoops to create a framework.

Then it was flower time, adding as much variety and colour in as I could I covered the skirt.

Which I attached to the bodice with pins and created darts to give it a full shape and covering the join with a red ribbon!

A few finishing touches, buttons, filling gaps and tweaking and et voila! A floral party dress for times ahead.

I had a bodice that I used in one of my christmas windows and covered it in hessian to freshen up the look.
